Myrtle Burford Van De Car

ORLANDO, Fla. — Myrtle Burford Van De Car died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Florida Hospital South in Orlando, Fla. She was 77.

Mrs. Van De Car was a Rolling Fork native and had lived most of her life in Orlando. She taught community college courses in Orlando and was a member of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by one son, David A. Van De Car of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Tatiana Ballion and Ida Van De Car, both of Orlando; two sisters, Bobbie Biesel and Carleen Ragan, both of Mobile, Ala.; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork. Burial will follow under the direction of GGlenwood Funeral Home of Rolling Fork. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon Saturday until the service.
