Dampf marries Dorman on Sept. 4

Paul Martin Dampf and Stacy Michelle Dorman were married at 7 p.m. Sept. 4, 2010, at Baton Rouge Country Club. Rabbi Jordan E. Goldson and the Rev. Richard C. Gates officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Russell Dorman of Baton Rouge. She is the granddaughter of Jean Russell Dorman of Jackson and the late Jessie Ozro Dorman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles James Ruble Sr.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Martin Dampf of Baton Rouge. He is the grandson of Aileen Weiner Dampf of Baton Rouge and the late Ernest Abraham Dampf and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Preis Marcus Sr. of Vicksburg.

Maid of honor was Denise Elizabeth Lee. Bridesmaids were Louise DuVernay Babin, Kelley Marler Butler, Caroline Murphy Cerise, Paige Marcus Dampf, Patricia Michel Dampf, Marilyn Zito Dorman and Julie Cascio Leak. House party member was Emma Louise Gordon.

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Alan Brock, John Ross Buzzell, Benjamin Howard Dampf, John Lepick Dampf, David Michael Dorman, Stephen Banzon Garcia and Dr. Jeffery Ryan O’Rear.

A reception followed the ceremony.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to San Francisco. They will make their home in Jackson, where the groom is working on a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
