Mr. Tench marries Miss Tarnabine

Timothy Neil Tench Jr. and Samantha Leighann Tarnabine were married at 6 p.m. Sept. 5, 2010, at Park Restaurant in Dallas, Texas. The Rev. Virgil Walker officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph Tarnabine and the late Anita Tarnabine of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Charlene Short and the late Stanley Short and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tarnabine Sr., all of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Timm and Teresa Tench of Baton Rogue and Belinda Gandy of Hattiesburg. He is the grandson of Norma Butler and the late Jabus Butler and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tench, all of Hurley, Miss.

The bride’s chosen colors were navy and kelly green.

Maid of honor was Trina M. Short of Baton Rogue. Bridesmaids were Cris M. Brasuell of Little Rock, Ark., and Leslie J. Lahoun, Amy L. Kinsey and Mary E. Pressler, all of Dallas.

Toney Brasuell of Little Rock served as best man. Groomsmen were Bolton Flautt of Oxford; Billy Williams of Mobile, Ala.; Jay Myrick of Denver, Colo.; and Spencer Estep of Dallas.

A reception followed the ceremony.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. They will make their home in Dallas.

The bride is employed by Yum! Brands, and the groom is employed by EMJ Corporation.

Barbecue

On the eve of the wedding, the bride and groom hosted a barbecue at their home for attendants and out-of-town guests.

Bachelorette party

The bride’s attendants honored her with a wine-and-cheese bachelorette party at Scardello Cheese in Dallas.

Bachelor weekend

The groom’s attendants honored him with a bachelor weekend in Dallas.

Shower

Dallas friends honored the bride and groom with a couples shower featuring a luau theme.
