BRANDON — Olivia Holleman Williams, 83, of Brandon died Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, in Brandon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home in Vicksburg. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until hour of service at the funeral home.

Olivia graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Vicksburg in 1949. She retired from Jefferson Davis Memorial Hospital in Natchez after 25 years of service in the surgical unit.

Olivia loved to fish and enjoyed gardening. After retirement she and her husband traveled the United States, participating in arts & craft shows.

She was faithful in church and Sunday School. Olivia adored her three daughters and the love of her life for 60 years, James Melvin. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah and Mary Henry Holleman; her husband, James M. Williams; five sisters, Mary Hemphill, Pearl Langston, Eunice Love, Alene Carson and Jane Marler; and four brothers, Lee Holleman, Otis Holleman, Curtis Holleman and Alton Holleman.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy (David) Fines of Des Moines, Iowa, Ann (Donald) Palermo of Ocean Springs and Sarah Barber of Brandon; grandchildren, Mary Lisa (Lee) Anderson, Dee (Kim) Palermo, Joey Palermo, Olivia Fines (Michael) Kunkler and Daniel Jeremiah Barber; great-grandchildren, Raleigh James Anderson, Donald James Palermo III and Jackson Lee Anderson; sister, Lorene Utz of Yazoo City; and brothers, Dr. Henry Holleman of Columbus and H.W. Holleman of Brandon.

Pallbearers will be David Fines, Don Palermo, Dee Palermo, Joey Palermo, Daniel Barber and Leon Hemphill.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Henry Holleman and H.W. Holleman.
