Bridgette Denise Wynn

Mrs. Bridgette Denise Wynn was the fifth child born to Clyde Sr. and Mattie Harris, on Jan. 13, 1970, in Vicksburg.
Bridgette accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was baptized by the Rev. R.L. Miller at the Holly Grove M. B. Church where she remained a faithful member until she united with Word of Faith Christian Center in 2008 under the leadership of the Rev. Reginald Walker. She was a 1988 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Jackson State University and her MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Bridgette died on Oct. 29, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 40.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Jerome Harris; her maternal grandparents, Johnny Sr. and Charlie Mae Gleese; and her paternal grandparents, Jake and Maude Harris.
Bridgette leaves to cherish her many fond memories her devoted husband, Darius Wynn; her precious daughter, Sydney Fayth Wynn; a stepdaughter, Dawntae Wynn of Vicksburg; her parents, Clyde and Mattie Harris of Vicksburg; five brothers, Clyde (Tresha) Harris Jr. and Robert Harris of Vicksburg, Carl (Shawanda) Harris of Fort Worth, Gary (Tiffany) Harris of Compton, Calif., and Clarence Ray (Beverly) Cooper of Detroit; two sisters, Stacy (William) Talley and LaKisha (Anthony) Ballard of Vicksburg; two uncles, Johnny (Ola) Gleese Jr., and Jarred Gleese of Vicksburg; eight aunts, Thelma (Joe) Van and Lula (James) Cross of Colorado Springs, Colo., Linda (Rhodell) Younger of Kansas City, Kan., Earlean (Oliver) Wesley of Savannah, Ga., Mabel Long of Los Angeles, Sheryl (Cornelius) Walker, Olivia James and Josephine Sanders of Vicksburg; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. Reginald Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the family being present from 6-7 p.m. and from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the City Auditorium.
