I was shocked and saddened by the letter written by John Magruder and published in the Oct. 31 The Vicksburg Post.

As a disabled person myself, I did not see this article as “free advertising” but as a story about the ability of the human spirit to overcome obstacles. Mrs. Napoli’s story is that of a woman seeking to continue a meaningful life and work after a tragedy.

Stories like this are one of the reasons I subscribe to The Vicksburg Post. Keep up the good work.
