The four people arrested Wednesday night and Thursday morning in a series of burglaries this month in south Warren County were expected to appear in justice court today for their initial appearances to face formal charges.
All four remained in the Warren County Jail this morning, Sheriff Martin Pace said.
Bond is expected to be set for the suspects, but one, Bennett Armstead, 28, 2422 Halls Ferry Road, also is being held on a retainer for the Warren County Drug Court.
Armstead, 28; Quintarius J. Brown, 22, 2506 Franklin St.; and Jessie Davis, 23, 2422 1/2 Halls Ferry Road, are each accused of nine burglaries and eight grand larcenies, Warren County investigator Stacey Rollison said.
Armstead and Heather Amanda Miller, 24, who lived together, also are accused of possession of two or more stolen firearms.
Miller also is being charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.
The four were picked up after deputies, acting on a tip that stolen jewelry was being sold from Armstead and Miller’s home, served a search warrant and found stolen electronics, firearms and jewelry.
The arrests solve most of the burglary cases from south Warren County in the last month, Rollison said.
Property has been recovered from nine of 10 burglaries reported on Summer Hill and Lakeside drives, Robinhood, Nailor, Goodrum, Fisher Ferry and Grange Hall roads.
The last four of the burglaries were reported Monday.
“Investigators and patrol have done an outstanding job in working this case,” Pace said, “but public remaining vigilant plays a big part in solving these cases.”
