EDWARDS — L.S. “Beacham” Climmons died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at his home. He was 72.

Mr. Climmons was a heavy-equipment operator. He was a member of Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ladonia Climmons.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Climmons of Edwards; his father, James Beacham of Edwards; seven daughters, Takita Morrison, Trina Nelson, Shonda McGraw, Marnita Hill, Michelle Sorrell, Marietta Jones and Tiffany Coins; three sons, Kenneth Brookshire, Michael Sorrell and Calvin Mosley; two brothers, James Richardson and Vern Lee Peoples; a sister, Valerie Green; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church in Edwards with the Rev. Elzie O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at St. James M.B. Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday at .
