Henson, Pettway wed at Wilderness Baptist

Paul E. Henson III and Torie Pettway were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 23, 2010, at Wilderness Baptist Church. Bob Conrad officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Sherlyn Pettway of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Paul Pettway of Buna, Texas, and the late Evelyn Pettway and Helen Watson, both of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of Paul E. Jr. and Donna Henson of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Paul E. Sr. and Patricia Henson of Spencer, Tenn., and the late Wiley and Jean Hambright of Vicksburg.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were navy blue and gold. Nuptial selections were presented by Glenn Conrad, pianist, and Wanda Gentry, organist.

Maid of honor was Charlie Pettway of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Jo Collins of Jackson and Sam McElhenney of Mathiston.

Wiley A. Henson of Vicksburg served as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Withrow of Fort Rucker, Ala., and Paul E. Henson Jr. of Vicksburg.

Ushers were Dewayne Trest, Gregory Sabino and Ashton Everett, all of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at the church.

The bride is employed at Woodland Animal Clinic, and the groom is employed with H&H Marine Services.
