Bovina farmer gets Farm Bureau honor

A Warren County man has been honored for serving on the board of directors for the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation.

Mark Chaney has completed a two-year term on the 20-member board. He represented Claiborne, Hinds, Issaquena, Sharkey, and Warren counties. He operates Clear Creek Farm in Bovina.

Chaney was honored during the bureau’s 89th meeting, which saw election of president Randy Knight of Pelahatchie.
