The December 2010 issue of ConventionSouth magazine will feature three local meeting venues.

Riverwalk Hotel and Casino and the Vicksburg Convention Center and Auditorium are among 50 sites that received a Readers’ Choice Award. Earlier this year, the VCC’s manager, Larry Gawronski, was named one of the magazine’s 43 Meeting Professionals to Watch in the Southeast for 2010.

The Readers’ Choice honorees were chosen after more than 18,000 readers cast votes for more than 6,000 sites across the Southeast. This is the sixth consecutive year the VCC has received the award.
