With half a season and two-thirds of the division schedule left to play, it’s not quite desperation time yet for Vicksburg High’s soccer teams.

But it is close.

The Gators and Missy Gators head into Friday’s game against archrival Warren Central needing a win to avoid falling two games behind in the Division 4-5A race. With a lopsided loss each to Clinton already in the books, it’s as close to a must-win situation as it gets this early in the season.
