NEW YORK — Two Mississippians were among the players picked to The Associated Press Little All-America team on Thursday.

Delta State defensive back Garrett Williams and Millsaps linebacker Will Hawkins were both selected to the third team. The Little All-America team recognizes players in Division II and III, and the NAIA.

Williams, a senior defensive back from Leland who played high school ball at South Delta in Rolling Fork, led Delta State with 115 tackles and tied a school record with eight interceptions.
