HATTIESBURG — Myrtle Mary Haney McCleave died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at her home. She was 94.
She spent most of her life taking care of others both at home and in her job as a private duty nurse.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Larry Kenneth McCleave and Barry Wayne McCleave; and by her beloved husband, Fred William McCleave.
Mrs. McCleave is survived by her daughter, Charmaine McCleave; two granddaughters, Fawn Francis and Tiffany Cummings; one great-grandson, Bram Francis; and her daughter-in-law, Earlene McCleave; and her adopted family, Misty Entrekin, Toni Pursell, John-Herbert “Caine” Johnson, Riley J. Johnson, Zachary G. Johnson and Christopher D. Entrekin Jr.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow.
Mrs. McCleave was a very special woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
