Two guns found in the home where a man was killed early Thursday had been reported stolen from a deer camp two weeks earlier, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said this morning.

One of the weapons, a .243-caliber hunting rifle, is believed to be the gun used in the killing of Timothy Wayne Harmon, 3400 U.S. 80, Lot 4, the sheriff said.

Jeremy Blake Bowlin, 18, same address, was arrested at the home around 4 a.m. just after the shooting and remained in the Warren County Jail today. He was to have his initial court hearing later today.

The second gun found at the home and believed to have been stolen at a hunting camp off Mississippi 27 near the Big Black River on Dec. 21 is a 30.06 rifle, Pace said.

He said other weapons were found in the trailer, but their owners and backgrounds had not yet been tracked.

The killing, reported at 3:48 a.m., was the first in Warren County this year.
