Gator Bowl bonanza

Historically, Mississippi State was likely to be intimidated into defeat by a football legend like Michigan. As reflected by the sportscasters’ lack of praise for either team, the victory was attributed entirely to Michigan’s weakness.
Setting the record straight: Dan Mullen’s team demonstrated poise, consistency, sportsmanship and a real team effort seldom experienced at MSU. State fans have long sought a program that could compete in the SEC and nationally, and this group’s function as a team (as opposed to individuals) is an indicator of good organization, and a source of hope and pride.
With Coach Mullen at the helm, it seems that ‘wait until next year’ might actually mean what it infers.
