William Daniel “Danny” Wallace died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011. He was 49.

Born in Shreveport, La., Mr. Wallace had lived in Vicksburg most of his life. He was an equipment operator for International Paper Co. and was a Masonic member of Stephens Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wallace; and his grandfather, Merce Fletcher.

Survivors include a son, Kyle Wallace of Vicksburg; his mother, Marcille Fletcher Wallace of Vicksburg; one sister, Susan Greer of Longview, Texas; his grandmothers, Pauline Fletcher and Gladystine Wallace, both of Bossier City, La.; and one grandchild, Keelie E. Wallace.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hill Crest Cemetery in Bossier City. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home.
