Faye Waldon

ROLLING FORK — Faye Waldon died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011, at Promise Hospital of Vicksburg. She was 80.
Born in Detroit, Ala., Mrs. Waldon had been a Rolling Fork resident since 1951. She was employed by Modern Cleaners in Rolling Fork and attended First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Waldon; her parents, James and Carrie Brown; and two sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by three sons, Johnny Waldon and Joey Waldon, both of Rolling Fork, and Robert Waldon of Oden, Ark.; four sisters, Delores Byrd of Aberdeen, Shelby Chisim of Amory, Dot Rominger of Hattiesburg and Myrtie Schaffer of Torney, Texas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
Pallbearers will be Eric Thornhill, Josh Thornhill, D.J. Chevalier, Jonathon McCollum, Lamar Sullivan and T.J. Reed.
