Vicksburg Water Department workers opened a fire hydrant on Harrison Street Thursday to relieve pressure while they tried to patch a leak from the water main that occurred during the demolition of the house at 1222 Harrison St. The house was on a City of Vicksburg list of 60 substandard structures in line to be demolished.
