Funeral services for Eddie Leo Sims Jr. will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Beulah Cemetery with the Rev. Willie Glasper officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chapel.

Mr. Sims died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at River Region Medical Center He was 81.

He was a retired foreman for Westinghouse Electric Corp. and Cooper Lighting. He graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in 1947, served two years in the Army and six years in the 386th Transportation Company.
