Florine Renee Goldfarb

MEMPHIS — Florine Renee Goldfarb died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at her home. She was 91.

Ms. Goldfarb was born in Vicksburg and was a member of Anshe Chesed Synagogue. She was a longtime resident of Memphis, where she had worked at The Helen Shop.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Myra Goldfarb; and her brother, Dr. Paul Goldfarb.

She is survived by cousins, including members of the Adelson family; and a nephew and nieces.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Anshe Chesed Cemetery with a member of Temple Anshe Chesed Synagogue officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Memphis Botanical Garden or the Alzheimer’s Association.
