NBC’s The Biggest Loser Patrick House came home Thursday to do his thing.
“I’m trying to inspire them and motivate them to lose the weight themselves,” House said at a health and fitness expo at DiamondJacks Casino, where he worked in the marketing department for a year in 2006. “When I was working at DiamondJacks, I was over 400 pounds. I was a big guy when I worked here and now I came back as the healthy guy, and that’s pretty cool.”
House helped the casino kick off a weight-loss contest in which employees are being given a 12-week challenge that begins Tuesday. Participants will work in groups and, at the end, the ultimate winner will receive a cash prize of $2,000. Bi-weekly winners also will receive prizes.
