Dianne Davis died Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 49.

She was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and Utica Junior College. She was a longtime employee of Warren-Yazoo Mental Health and was an employee of the Vicksburg Warren School District and Vicksburg Police Department at the time of her death. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Mount Carmel Ministries.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Wilson and Bessie Davis Clay; and four brothers, Murphy Clay, Herbert Clay, Andrew Clay and Charles Davis.

Survivors include her sisters, Delores Christopher Griffin, Dorothy A. Griffin, Jennifer Wilson and Ernestine Wright, all of Vicksburg; Janice Davis Copeland of Jackson; and Mary Ann Johnson of New Orleans; brothers, William Martin Davis of Los Angeles, and Joseph Wilson Jr., Jeffery Wilson, Randy Wilson, Billy Ray Wilson, Danny Wilson and Timmy Wilson, all of Vicksburg.

Visitation was at noon Friday and services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Carmel Ministries with the Rev. Mitchell Dent officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
