Karley Whittington, the 11-year-old daughter of Traci and Daryle Whittington, works Monday to unload Girl Scout cookies at the Vicksburg Convention Center for her troop, 5411, to sell over the next few weeks. The Scouts will set up Saturday at Walmart from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and at Kroger from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. In addition, beginning Feb. 26, they will walk door-to-door and sell from booths at the Outlets at Vicksburg and at the Vicksburg Mall. The revenue generated from selling cookies is going to selected area nursing homes and to help fund a Scout trip to Camp Wahi.
