Wilma Jean Harbaugh Groves died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at her son’s home in Lucedale. She was 78.

Mrs. Groves was a registered nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benton Whitaker Groves; her parents, John Russell and Helen Phillips Nicholson Harbaugh; a brother, John Harbaugh; and a grandson, Justin Dahl.

She is survived by three sons, Wylie Burke Groves of Lucedale, Boyd Russell Groves of Shawnee, Kan., and Benton Whitaker Groves Jr. of Vicksburg; two daughters, Kate Dahl and Jo Burop, both of Buhl, Idaho; a sister, Janet Harbaugh Robertson of Sheridan, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.
