ANGUILLA — Alice C. Summer died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Patient’s Choice Medical Center in Belzoni. She was 92.

Born in Linn, Miss., she had been a resident of Anguilla since 1940. She was a retired school teacher for the Sharkey County school system, and she was a member of the Anguilla United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, S.A. Summer; and a granddaughter, Eden Robertson Edwards.

She is survived by two daughters, Sedgene Robertson of Belzoni and Cindy Wray of Brandon; seven grandchildren, Cade Robertson, Seth Robertson, Evan Robertson, Bree Robertson, Dara Robertson, Melissa Wray and Kristin Freeze; and two great-grandchildren, Jane Audrie Towery and Kenli Wray.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Anguilla United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Gamillion officiating. Interment will follow at the Golden Link Cemetery in Anguilla. Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Robertson, Cade Robertson, Seth Robertson, Evan Robertson, Jason Freeze and Donald Durst.
