MSU tackling pests in Tuesday workshop

Mississippi State University wants to help fight pests.
The university’s extension service in Raymond is offering a workshop on pest management from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mississippi State University’s Central Mississippi Research and Extension Center on Seven Springs Drive.
Topics will include tomato production in high tunnels, growing shiitake mushrooms, blueberry disease identification and management, vegetable disease management, fruit production in Mississippi, food safety and Oriental persimmon production.
