Incumbent constables Glenn McKay and John Heggins have filed paperwork for re-election.
McKay, 48, switched to independent from Democrat for this year’s race in the Northern District. Heggins, 48, remained in the Democratic fold on this year’s Aug. 2 primary. Both have served seven terms. The general election is Nov. 8.
Central District Constable Randy Naylor, 56, filed as a Democrat in January for a second term.
Constables serve papers to those summoned to justice court.
