Alfred Lee Sims and Patricia Ann Allen were married at 3 p.m. Feb. 12, 2011, at the home of the bride’s sister. Minister Kevin Abraham officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bertha Allen and the late Houston Allen of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Martin of Edwards.

The groom is the son of the late Alfreda Sims of Vicksburg.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Jeremy Johnson. Her chosen colors were red and white.

Nedra Smith presented a program of nuptial music.

Maid of honor was Tabitha Sims of Vicksburg. Matron of honor was Gail Stamps of Atlanta.

Flower girl was Keanna Abraham of Vicksburg.

Albert Redd of Brandon served as best man. Usher was Jeremy Johnson of Chicago.

A reception followed the ceremony. Hostesses were Alfreda Sims, Maxine Carson, Benita Abraham, Jackie Allen and Janice Flowers.
