I would like to thank the many people who had a part in the success of the 2011 Vicksburg Warren School District science fair.

The coordinators from each school, including St. Francis Xavier Elementary, were invaluable. Without the support and tremendous amount of time and energy involved, the fair could not take place.

I would like to thank Debra Hullum, VWSD assistant superintendent, and the VWSD Print Shop personnel. A special thank you to Artis Williams and the staff of the Vicksburg Convention Center and Auditorium. I would like to recognize our many judges who volunteer their time and talents.

Also, thanks to our fair sponsors, who are so willing to help us out each year.

Lastly, I would like to thank the parents for supporting their students in such a worthwhile learning experience. It is imperative that our students have the opportunity to learn how to learn. The science fairs is the ideal environment to accomplish this.
