Augustine Stewart died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at her home. She was 55.

Mrs. Stewart was a retired office manager. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Walton Sr.; and a brother, Haywood Bracey Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Josephine Walton of Detroit; two brothers, Charles Henry Bracey of Los Angeles and Ernest Walton Jr. of Dallas; four sisters, Ruby Jean Hall, Henel Marie King and Bernadine Bracey, all of Vicksburg, and Hilda Joyce Stewart Gleese of Detroit; her fiance, Michael Thompson of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
