Danny and Brenda Bart-lett of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth of Vicksburg, to Micah L. “Moose” Adams of Houston, Texas. Mr. Adams is the son of Gerald and Judy Adams of Brandon.

Miss Bartlett is the granddaughter of Betty Carden and the late W.A. Carden, Sidney Bartlett and Barbara Quave, all of Ocean Springs.

Mr. Adams is the grandson of Lizzie Keene Sartin and the late Walter Frank Sartin of Brookhaven; the late Lonnie Adams of McComb; and the late Alma May Adams of Summit.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Vicksburg High School. She attended Jones County Junior College and Mississippi College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

Miss Bartlett is a staff nurse at Sta-Home Health & Hospice.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Brandon High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Adams is a project engineer for Chevron Global Upstream and Gas.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m. May 28, 2011, at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. A reception will follow.
