A county man was in the Warren County Jail this morning charged with two counts of sexual battery, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

William Elliott, 56, 141 Cumberland Drive, is accused of sexually assaulting two children younger than 14, Pace said.

Elliott was arrested at his home at 3 p.m. Monday after a family member filed a report that morning. The children had been in the presence of Elliott over the weekend, Pace said.

Elliott was being held without bond pending an initial hearing.
