PCA defeats Columbia, 9-7

Cameron Upton had a double and three RBIs — the last two on a go-ahead single in the fourth inning — as Porters Chapel Academy rallied from a five-run deficit to beat Columbia Academy at the Parklane Tournament.

PCA trailed 7-2 before scoring four runs in the third inning, two in the fourth and one in the fifth. Jarad Tompkins, Montana McDaniel, Upton, Richie Bufkin and Talbot Buys all had two hits apiece for PCA. Buys also pitched five innings to earn the win, and Sam Staggs picked up the save.

Taylor Fortenberry went 4-for-4 with a double, three-run homer and four RBIs for Columbia.
