7 sentenced in Warren County Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:

• Tameka Faye Calvin, 26, 1208 China St., pleaded guilty to identity theft and was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Isadore Patrick to three years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine, $1,380.67 in restitution and $322.50 in court costs. Calvin was arrested April 10, 2008.

• David Lee McFelt, 23, 2200 Short Main St., was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to five years in prison, with credit for time served (unspecified), followed by one year of probation, plus $2,359.13 in fines, fees and costs. McFelt was arrested Feb. 21, 2005, for arson and felony malicious mischief.

• Fredrick D. Payne, 24, 270 Calista, Redwood, pleaded guilty to non-residential burglary and grand larceny and was sentenced by Patrick to five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine, $1,050 in restitution and $322.50 in costs. Payne was arrested Dec. 8.

• John Earl Rush, 28, 1773 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., pleaded guilty to sale of cocaine and possession of a weapon after felony conviction and was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge M. James Chaney to 15 years in prison followed by five years of probation, a $5,000 fine and $622.50 in costs. Rush was arrested March 31.

• George Edward Tatum, 55, 143 Tate Road, Greenville, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, third offense, and was sentenced by Patrick to two years in prison plus $322.40 in costs. Tatum was arrested April 27.

• Dianna Thomas, 28, 1103 Jefferson St., Apt. 6, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Patrick to one year in the Mississippi Department of Corrections Intensive Supervision Program (house arrest) followed by seven years of probation. Thomas was arrested July 16 for possession of cocaine.

• Latasha Yvette Washington, 30, 717 Smith Lane, Natchez, was found guilty of violating probation and sentenced by Chaney to three days in jail followed by five years of probation, plus a $1,000 fine, $787.38 in restitution and $322.50 in costs. Washington was arrested Feb. 10, 2009, for uttering a forgery and possession of a counterfeit instrument.
