A Vicksburg man was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said, after he was shot twice during what police reported was a fight with his girlfriend Wednesday night.
Reginald Lyons, 31, 208 Rhodes Drive, was shot in the upper chest and right leg, Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department said.
His live-in girlfriend, Rheuvonia Buck, 28, was arrested at the home and charged with aggravated domestic assault and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, Stewart said.
The shooting was reported at 11:57.
A pistol believed used in the shooting was recovered, Stewart said. He declined to give details about the weapon.
Lyons was taken to River Region Medical Center, said hospital spokesman Allen Karel.
Buck, who had a previous drug-related conviction from a 2003 arrest, was being held without bond pending her initial hearing Friday, the lieutenant said.
