A Vicksburg man said he was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night at the corner of Speed and Washington streets, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said today.
The 20-year-old victim told police at 11:37 that he was walking south on Washington when two black males, 18 to 22 years old with short hair and medium builds, wearing black clothing and white do-rags, approached him with a handgun and robbed him of $200 and an iPod valued at $115.
Stewart said the victim was hit once in the head but did not require medical treatment. He reported the robbery at the police station, said the lieutenant.
