RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. — Loriece M. Beall, 89, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home in Vicksburg with the Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. Burial will be at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Hazlehurst. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service.
Loriece was born in Newellton, La., to Ben M. and Gertrude Varner McMillin. During the 1927 flood, Loriece and her family moved to Warren County and lived here until June 2007. She was an active member at Calvary Baptist Church and then later at Immanuel Baptist Church, teaching Sunday school. She was also a homemaker and worked 23 years at Waterways Experiment Station.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George L., James S. and Noble M. McMillin; and sister, Jeanette Ratliff.
Survivors include husband, Walter J. Beall; sons, Laurence V. (Shirley), Joe E. (Marian), W. Harold (Rene) and W. Howard (Sarah); daughter, Frances L. (Glen) Rhoads; eight grandsons; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and nine great-granddaughters.
Pallbearers are sons and grandsons, Larry Beall, Randy Rhoads, David Beall, Matthew Beall, Bradley Beall, Jeremy Beall, Robert Beall and Brian Beall.
Honorary pallbearers are Clarence and Warren Triplett, Max Evans, John and Elizabeth Richards, Jack and Barbara Tillotson, John and Irene Sanders, Bobby and Trisha Tullos, and Bobby and Bernice Matthews.
