Services for Dorothy C. Martin will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Lebanon M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Martin died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Covenant Health & Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 80.

She was a member of Greater Mount Lebanon M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Martin Sr.; a son, Robert Earl Martin Sr.; and her parents, Julius Jr. and Bertha Canda.

Survivors include two sons, Charlie Martin Jr. and Lester K. Martin Sr., both of Vicksburg; three daughters, Linda Milton of Utica, Albertha Martin of Portland, Ore., and Patricia Martin of Vicksburg; one brother, Julius “Bobcat” Canda III of Portland; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives, including Willie Mae Atkins of Vicksburg and members of the Atkins, Canda and Barnes families.
