Wilbert Steed died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 76.

Mr. Steed was retired from the Warren County Road Department and a member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Steed and Annie Bell Robinson Steed.

Survivors include one son, Perry Steed of Chicago; two sisters, Mary Floyd of Vicksburg and Bessie Hamilton of Marrero, La.; one brother, Danny Steed of Vicksburg; and other relatives and friends.
