Smith, Phillips are wed March 19 in Jamaica

James “Cory” Smith and Kristin Nicole “Kristi” Phillips, both of McKinney, Texas, were married at 4 p.m. March 19, 2011, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The bride is the daughter of Wendy Phillips of Frisco, Texas, and Robert Phillips of Roscoe, Ill. She is the granddaughter of Peter and Beverly Phillips of Racine and the late Ilow and Mildred Heinz.

The groom is the son of Albert and Lynnette Smith of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of James Wiltcher of Vicksburg and the late Dorothy Wiltcher and the late O.C. and Mary Smith.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s chosen colors were Tiffany blue and ivory.

Matron of honor was Michelle Wandersee of McKinney. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Wandersee of Frisco; Stephanie Hause of The Colony, Texas; and Lyndsey Young of Rockford, Ill.

Mark James Lowe of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., served as best man. Groomsmen were Hampton Reed of Frisco, Matthew Wandersee of McKinney and David Chiz of Cleveland, Miss.

A reception followed aboard a private, chartered yacht.

The couple honeymooned at Sandals Resort in Montego Bay. They will make their home in McKinney.

The bride is employed at Reachout Home Care, and the groom is employed with Martinaire Aviation.
