The Y’s Men’s Club will usher in Riverfest 2011 with its annual pancake breakfast Friday morning. Platters will also be served Saturday morning at the Y off East Clay Street.

Riverfest kicks off with music on Washington Street Friday night, and this year’s event, the 24th annual, will feature some changes.

Musical entertainment will be offered on two stages, instead of one, said Katrina Shirley, president of the festival board.

Last year’s Riverfest featured one stage.

“We’re real excited about bringing back two stages,” Shirley said.

The North Stage will be at China and Washington streets, and the South Stage will be at South and Washington.
