An Edwards man was released Wednesday from Warren County Jail on a felony child abuse charge.
Hayden Hales, 22, 1625 McKayland Drive, was released on a $25,000 bond after meeting with Warren County investigators Sam Winchester and Randy Lewis at about 9 a.m., Sheriff Martin Pace said.
The case involves leg and head injuries to a 1-month-old infant believed to have been inflicted in Warren County, Pace said. The investigation began after the Department of Human Services contacted the sheriff’s department after the child was treated at Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children, the sheriff said.
