Frank “Sonny” Hardiman Womack died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. He was 68.

Mr. Womack was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, where he was retired from LeTourneau after 35 years of service.

He was the son of the late Frank Hugh and Dorothy Lou Guin Womack. He was an active sportsman and a member of the Wilderness Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Millie Anderson Womack of Vicksburg; one daughter, Shelley Roberts and husband Edwin of Vicksburg; one son, Frank Halton Womack of Vicksburg; one brother, Jimmie Harold Womack of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, Will Tyler Roberts, Leigh Ann Roberts and Victoria Ross; and numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Conrad, pastor of Wilderness Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Yazoo County. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Neihaus, Kevin Neihaus, Jake Neihaus, Larry McWilliams Jr., Warren Shelton, Jason Shelton and Seth Shelton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Smith, John Collins, William Chapin, Reggie King, Wiley Pritchard and Dr. Daniel Edney and his office staff.
