Parker Rutherford shot a 77 Tuesday to finish third in the individual standings, and Warren Central was second in the team standings at the Region 2-6A golf tournament at Deerfield Country Club in Canton.

Rutherford finished three shots behind medalist Reid Holly of Madison Central, and one behind the Jaguars’ Leighton Greer.

Warren Central’s team total of 330 shots fell short of tournament winner Madison Central, but did qualify the Vikings for the Class 6A tournament at Tupelo Country Club May 10 and 11.
