PORT GIBSON — Rosetta Kelly died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at River Region Medical Center. She was 81.

Mrs. Kelly was a member and mother at Greater St. Mark M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kelly Sr.; her parents, Bennie and Frances Hargro; a daughter, Rose Mary Sykes; three sisters, Susie Harris, Ella Woods and Mary Hargro; two brothers, Willie Hargro and Winfield Hargro; and a grandson, Terrance Kelly.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby Kelly and Joe Kelly Jr., both of Port Gibson; two daughters, Shirley Brown and Jacqueline Walker, both of Port Gibson; three brothers, Bennie Hargro and Roosevelt Hargro, both of Gary, Ind., and Eddie Hargro of Jackson; two sisters, Beulah Hargro of Jackson and Julia Trout of South Bend, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Mark M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Leon Howard officiating. Burial will be at McCay Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson with family hour from 6 until 7 and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.
