A documentary produced by a Vicksburg native and his wife will be shown on Mississippi Public Broadcasting tonight.

“Miller’s Tale” was produced and directed by Rebecca Marshall Ferris, and Jason Ferris was executive producer.

The film, to be shown at 9 p.m. on MPB, local cable Channel 7, is about playwright and actor Jason Miller. Miller is best known for his role as a Catholic priest, Father Karras, in the 1973 thriller “The Exorcist.”

Jason Ferris, who lives in New Orleans, is the son of the late Grey and Jann Ferris. Grey Ferris was a former senator and educator. Jann Ferris was an artist.
