The Jackson Generals gave the Mississippi Braves a rude going-away present on Friday night.

Kyle Seager homered twice, Scott Savastano belted a solo shot in the first inning, and the Generals beat the M-Braves 8-6 in the finale of a five-game series at Trustmark Park.

Rich Poythress went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs for Jackson, which scored twice in the first inning and never trailed. After the M-Braves cut it to 2-1 on Donell Linares’ RBI double in the second inning, Jackson plated two more runs in the third on an RBI single by Poythress and a double play.
