Margaret Saunier-Smith, 40, address unavailable, died at Madison Parish Hospital, where she was taken after her 2009 Toyota Yaris crashed around 4:30 p.m. on U.S. 80 in Thomastown in Madison Parish, Trooper First Class Mark Dennis of the Louisiana State Police said.

Saunier-Smith was traveling east on the highway when her car ran off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected back to the left and ran off the left side of the highway, Dennis said. Saunier-Smith was ejected from the car after it rolled over.
