A county woman was in the Warren County Jail this morning after being arrested at 12:30 a.m. today for possession of a controlled substance, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Sherry R. Balthrop, 41, 200 Enchanted Drive, was arrested in the 100 block of Redbud Drive when deputies responded to a call of a suspicious person.

Upon questioning, deputies found Balthrop was in possession of Fentanyl patches without a prescription.

She was being held without bond.
